The ULIS project was initiated by Dream Family in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic. At that time, the company already operated a network of large hostels across Ukraine and several EU countries. However, with lockdowns restricting hotel accommodations and halting tourism, the idea emerged to develop local tourism in secluded areas, away from crowds. Together with the client’s team, we explored various locations, camped in tents, and envisioned a new hospitality format.
We established key principles for this project: the ability to retreat into nature; comfortable conditions; invisible service; and peace and tranquility. Several cabin concepts were developed and strategically placed in the forest so that from one cabin, others are not visible, providing a sense of solitude. The cabins were manufactured off-site and transported to their locations. Each cabin is connected to water, sewage, electricity, and internet. A contactless service operates on-site. Interested individuals can purchase these cabins, becoming owners and earning passive income, while the operating company manages rentals and maintenance.
