In the middle of a desert littered by unexploded ordnance and mines, leftovers from the Iran-Iraq conflict an Oil Refinery was created. Built on top of a large oil field, a refinery, well clusters and a base camp was constructed. The settlement for 800 staff was built to provide comfort and security in a hostile environment. The nature of the project needed extensive active and passive safety measures from a wide variety of natural and human hazards.
The settlement is capable of operating autonomously, independent of external resources. On the territory there is housing, offices, canteens, as well as sports grounds and gyms. Those who wish can even take a walk by the lake. Everything is done so that people can feel comfortable in the middle of the desert, away from their homes.
We also implemented as part of the factory infrastructure, an office building, a laboratory, a mosque, a first-aid post, a fire station, a factory control center, a police station and technical buildings.
